National Mathematics Day is celebrated on the occassion of  birth anniversary of Shri Srinivasa Ramanujan , the great Mathematician , a genius who made exemplary contribution to Mathematics. 

D.A.V.Centenary Public School,Narela conducted a special assembly  on this occasion on 22nd December,2022 .The day was celebrated with an objective of creating awareness about importance of mathematics in day to day life  and to inculcate interest in mathematics . students participated in fancy dress competition , drama ,song and poem recitation. Contribution of other indian mathematicians wrere also highlighted in the World mathematics. 

Principal Madam Ms. Anupama Bindra also graced the occassion and encouraged the students  to study mathematics and make their carrer in this field. She also advised them to work hard and utilise their time in productive pursuits.
